The Regis Summer Scholars College and Career Pathways Program offers rising high school juniors and seniors an immersive pre-college experience. Students enroll in two college-level courses, earning six college credits upon successful completion. The program begins with one week of online synchronous learning, followed by three weeks of residential experience on the Regis University Northwest Denver Campus. Participants choose a second elective course from various pathways, including Education, Healthcare/Pre-Med, Law Enforcement/Pre-Law, Psychology/Neuroscience, or Sports Management, in addition to a required Reading, Thinking, and Writing course. Beyond academics, the program includes a Student Success Workshop covering college preparation and life skills, as well as social activities and excursions to the Boston area. Students gain valuable academic skills, an understanding of college life, and insights into potential career paths, all while building a portfolio of writing and receiving personalized academic advice from Regis College faculty.
Students spend approximately five hours per day in class, with academic support available from Regis College's Student Success Coaches for learning strategies, time management, and stress management.
